※Please read our Terms of Use carefully. By placing your order, you agree to the Terms of Use contained in this Agreement.

Steps after sending your data

Once we receive your order, we will review it and contact you by phone or email. If everything is in order, we will confirm the expected shipping date and send you and invoice for advance payment.

Important information for Master Recordings

Master recordings should be submitted in the following formats:

  • Data (e.g. WAV files) ※16-bit or 24-bit is recommended, 32-bit is not allowed.

※Important: When sending audio files for vinyl records (LPs), make sure that all data on each side of the record use the same format (bit/Hz). Our system cannot process different formats on the same side, so please keep the format consistent.

*It is okay for A and B sides to have different formats as long as each of them is consistent.

[Recommendations]

  • When you name your files, use only standard alphanumeric characters (half-width). Full-width characters are not accepted.

Printing Guidelines

Follow these steps when creating your data:

  • Download the templates here.
  • Use CMYK for your images to ensure accurate colors are printed. RGB images are also accepted but they may experience color changes during conversion. If you submit RGB images without color profiles, they will be converted using the Japan Color 2001 Profile.
  • For the best image quality we recommend using full-size images with a resolution of 400 ppi and 1200 ppi for 1-bit images and line drawings.
  • All print designs need to be larger than their final size to include bleed margins. If you want to add an image or color to the background, make sure you extend them past the bleed area. Refer to the template for exact measurements.
  • For the Label design make sure to include (1) Product number, (2) A/B side, (3) Rotation Speed, (4) STEREO/MONO, (5) Country of origin such as “Made in Japan”.
Important notes on ORDERING

Minimum order

Regardless of the specifications and customizations, the minimum order quantity for pressing records is 500.

Payment

  • Payment is required in advance. (Manufacturing will begin after your payment has been confirmed.)
  • We only accept payments through bank transfer. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we do not accept credit card payments.

※Our company is not liable for any bank transfer fee.

Storage and Repressing

  • We will store your stamper plate for six months from the initial delivery date. After this period the stamper plate will be discarded.
  • No extra charge will apply for the stamper plate and MOTHER if you repress within the storage period.

Delivery time

Delivery time can vary depending on the volume of the order, specifications, and our current workload. Once your order is confirmed, our sales team will provide you with an estimated delivery date. You can specify your preferred delivery date in the order form; however, we may not always be able to meet your request.

Steps for Audio Quality Confirmation

  • A test lacquer cut will be sent to you by our engineer.
  • Lacquer discs are larger than regular records and may not play properly on some record players. Since the lacquer disc can easily be damaged, we recommend avoid using basic record players where you cannot adjust needle pressure.
  • Please test the sound on your own device and let us know about the result before we move forward with production.

Providing Lacquer Discs

  • If you provide us with lacquer discs produced by a different cutting studio, please let us know in advance about the name of the studio, delivery date, product number, and destination for the test pressings.
  • When you provide lacquer discs, we will take care of creating and supplying the test pressings. Delivery times for these can vary depending on our workload, so please confirm the schedule with us in advance.
  • Please provide a minimum of two lacquer discs per side to ensure we have enough for any potential resupply needs.
  • Please be aware that this manufacturing process may take longer compared to in-house cutting.
  • Regardless of the product specifications (7-inch or 12-inch), please provide lacquer discs in a 14-inch size.

Printing Specifications and Proofing

  • You can choose between a free PDF proof or a paid Prepress proof.
  • Please refer to the separate regulations for more information about proofing.
  • If you want to change the paper or finish varnish, or add special specifications, please discuss them with us separately during your inquiry.

Product Number

The product number is not the product title, but a management number used within the manufacturing process. You will need to provide it when placing an order, please make sure to include it.

Allowed characters: alphanumeric and hyphen (-)

※Please keep the product number to 10 characters or less.
(For example: TOYO-001)
